At a recent Gig Harbor Garden Tour, I had an art booth at one of the featured gardens and I noticed this lovely water lily pond.  I was attracted by the play of light and reflection on the water as well as the calm beauty of the pink water lilies.

 

For this painting, I changed the time of day from mid-day to sunrise, and added some tree reflections.
